Total area: 1755 m²
Location: Moscow, Manege Central Exhibition Hall
Year: 2024
The exhibition was opened on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the union of three artists Mikhail Kupriyanov, Porfiry Krylov and Nikolai Sokolov, in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" on November 1, 2024.
To create an interior solution for the exhibition space, I turned to the story of the acquaintance of three artists. This happened in the early 20s, at the main creative institute of the country, the VKHUTEMAS school of the avant-garde. There, the artists began working together, under the pseudonym "Kukryniksy".
There is a lot of symbolism in the design of the exhibition. For example, black rectangles of different sizes with "Windows of TASS"* are the walls of houses. During the war, they were placed on the facades of houses, in storefronts, in the subway, etc. and they were a powerful propaganda tool.
* "Windows of TASS" — political propaganda posters produced by the Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union (TASS) during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
In the hall of the Nuremberg trials, the shape of the table at which the artists were sitting was determined from photographs. Stylizing it in an avant-garde style, we got a showcase-a bench with an inclined plane made of birch plywood with niches for exhibits.

Separate halls of the exhibition are dedicated to the work of Kukryniks in the magazine "Crocodile" and on book illustrations.
